A good level of work-life balance should leave you feeling happy and fulfilled. So what makes you happy? It could be eating dinner with the family, volunteering in your local community, your spirituality, health and fitness or a particular hobby. Whatever it is, it’s something that needs to be considered as part of your efforts to improve your work-life integration.
As a student your main priority will likely be to pass your exams with top marks. In the early stages of your career, your focus might be on climbing the career ladder. Later your priority might be your family. How you want to spend time each day will change as your circumstances change.
