Your physical health, and that of your close family, has a dramatic impact on your life. How you feel physically is intrinsically linked to your wellbeing. Our support officers can help you with any emotional pressures and offer practical advice. We support carers with financial help, fund aids and adaptations and much more.
Caring for a loved one is highly rewarding, but it can place a strain on your income, your relationships and your own health. At CABA, we know that carers need to be looked after too. Our dedicated carer support officers can help you access community care, carer support and health services, and we can help and support you when you need to deal with social services or the NHS.
We’re here for you when you face difficult decisions and to listen to your day-to-day concerns. We can also help fund specialist wheelchairs, home adaptions and mobility equipment.
We can advise on whether you’re entitled to any benefits and help you to apply for them. In some circumstances we may also be able to contribute towards the top-up fees of residential care or provide grants and donations for respite care so that you can take a break and come back to the person you care for refreshed and with more energy.
Our support officers have extensive knowledge of the available equipment, so can also help with occupational therapy assessments.
If you’re an ACA student, past or present ICAEW member, ICAEW staff member, their husband, wife or life partner a relative or friend caring for a chartered accountant, call us now. All our services are free and strictly confidential.
