If you’re facing financial hardship, the reality of missed payments, growing debts and the cost of daily living impacts every area of your life – putting pressure on your relationships, emotional health and more. We can provide confidential advice to help people regain control of their finances and move forward in a positive way.
Debts can build up for a range of reasons, and we know that often they can be a result of other difficulties in your life. If you’re concerned about your level of debt or struggling with bills or loan repayments, our support officers can help you manage your debts and work out a plan to address them.
Our service is free, impartial and confidential to ACA students, past and present ICAEW members, ICAEW staff members, their husbands, wives, life partners and children up to the age of 25. Trained debt support officers can help you understand your situation and explore options for you to help manage your debt. They can help you to minimise the impact of your liabilities through advice, information, budgeting and prioritising. We can also help negotiate with creditors over repayments.
